The word “Orthodox” literally means “right worship” (from orthro meaning “right” or “correct” and doxos meaning “worship” or “glory”).

The beautiful Cycle of Services is central to our lives as Orthodox Christians. These meaningful services and Sacraments heal us and allow us to receive the grace of the Holy Spirit.

A typical week includes Great Vespers on Saturday evening, followed by Orthros and Divine Liturgy on Sunday morning. While many other services occur throughout the year, these key moments genuinely form the backbone of our Orthodox worship experience.
